Dr. Ir. Eko Mursito Budi, M.T.

Eko Mursito Budi is an expert in the field of engineering physics and informatics. He has developed various innovative projects using multi-disciplinary technology and robotics. Some of his notable creations are:

• Angklung Robot (KlungBot): a robotic ensemble of angklung, a traditional Indonesian musical instrument made of bamboo. KlungBot can play angklung music autonomously or interactively with human players. It has won several awards including Jabar ICT Award (2011), Indonesian ICT Award (2011, 2012, 2015), as well as ASEAN ICT Awards 2013 in the category of digital content.
• Photonics Batik: a machine that uses artificial light to activate the color of batik, a traditional Indonesian textile art. Photonics Batik can produce batik in any place and time, regardless of the availability of sunlight, and ensures consistent quality despite the environmental impact of batik production.
• Sistem Otomasi Kandang Ayam (SOKA): an industrial internet of things system for broiler chicken farm automation. This is an advanced automation system that incorporates intelligent control system to regulate the internal environment of the chicken coop.
